2024 Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid, Coupe, Models – The 2024 Porsche Cayenne is undoubtedly one of the best luxury SUVs available, combining impressive performance with an unwavering commitment to luxury, style, and endless customization options.
While the BMW X5 and Land Rover Range Rover are similarly priced and offer a slew of impressive features, not even the Bavarian can match the way Stuttgart’s most successful offering drives and handles. For the 2021 model year, the Cayenne lineup got a boost thanks to the return of the GTS model, which has 453 horsepower and 457 lb-ft of torque. This makes the car even more appealing.
2024 Porsche Cayenne Redesign
The 2024 Porsche Cayenne receives a few changes in preparation for a mid-cycle refresh that is expected to debut as a 2023 model. The GTS variant was introduced last year. The infotainment system will be upgraded to the current Porsche Communication Management (PCM) 6.0 software this year. The wireless Apple CarPlay is finally joined by Android Auto – but not wirelessly. Additionally, the exterior color pallet has been modified somewhat.
Although this is 2024 Porsche Cayenne most costly and most extensive SUV, it is not exactly brimming with standard goodies. However, you do get auto stop/start, 4D-Chassis Control, rain-sensing wipers, heated power wing mirrors, an auto rear hatch, LED headlights with cornering, dual-zone automatic climate control, power-adjustable front seats, keyless ignition, forward collision detection with automatic emergency braking, a rearview camera, and parking sensors on both ends of the car.
Interior
As with every 2024 Porsche Cayenne, the interior of the 2024 Porsche Cayenne is just amazing. It’s brilliantly polished, solidly constructed, and nicely styled. It’s also spacious, with an abundance of technology, though we’d prefer to see at least a few physical buttons, knobs, or dials on the center console or dash, rather than the overwhelming obsession with touch-sensitive surfaces that attract fingerprints and dust and are difficult to operate while driving. However, some of the technology, such as dual-zone climate control (four-zone is optional), eight-way power front seats, and keyless ignition, is welcome. Additionally, adaptive sports chairs are available.
Although Porsche markets the Cayenne SUV as having a 4+1 seating configuration, the reality is that, unlike many other similarly marketed vehicles, three adults can fit comfortably in the rear seats. It’s simple to enter and exit, and there is enough headroom and legroom for all passengers. Eight-way power-adjustable front seats are standard and provide an excellent balance of support and comfort. Additionally, the driver will appreciate the exceptional all-around visibility. Finding a comfortable driving stance is easy, regardless of your size.
Engine
While the 2024 Porsche Cayenne, in whatever configuration, is decent in terms of performance and power, people who are unconcerned about acceleration times and peak speed capability will likely be better off selecting the basic model. This model is equipped with a 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 engine that produces 335 horsepower and 332 pound-feet of torque. Although it is the least powerful variant in the range, it has no difficulty accelerating from a standstill and is capable of overtaking, but with a less visceral sensation due to its weight. Speaking of hefty versions, the E-Hybrid model retains the base model’s drivetrain but adds a 134-horsepower and 295-lb-ft electric motor named the “E-Machine.”
Without electric assistance, the Cayenne S is equipped with a 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 that produces 434 horsepower and 405 lb-ft more power than the standard model. This device appears to be really speedy, and it is. On the interstate, there is no reason to downshift unless you absolutely want to blow the doors off slower traffic, although even this model pales in contrast to the superb GTS variation. This Cayenne uses the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 from the Turbo variant, but with somewhat less power. It develops 453 horsepower and 457 lb-ft of torque in this configuration. This model is simply magnificent.
2024 Porsche Cayenne Release Date and Price
In the United States, the basic model is priced at $69,000 before a $1,350 destination charge. The E-Hybrid is the next step up in pricing, starting at $83,300. The entry-level 2024 Porsche Cayenne is slightly more reasonable at $86,800, while the GTS variant is even more expensive at $109,000. Before we went absolutely insane with the online configurator’s ridiculous customization options, we discovered that we could specify a fully outfitted GTS for roughly $185,000. True, a Porsche Cayenne can set you back more than $200,000. We, too, would like a supercar.
