2024 Porsche Cayenne Redesign
This year, Porsche improved 2024 Porsche Cayenne infotainment system to enable wired Android Auto and wireless Apple CarPlay. The Cayenne comes in two body styles: a more formal SUV and a sloping roofline Cayenne Coupe. Both vehicles make extensive use of Porsche-specific styling cues, most of which work admirably both inside and out.
This diverse lineup features everything from strong turbocharged V-6 engines to twin-turbocharged V-8 machines and a number of plug-in hybrids. The engine’s output ranges from a reasonable 335 horsepower to a monstrous 670 horsepower. With its modified air suspension and torque-vectoring rear axle, the Cayenne GTS is our favorite.
Interior
Though the 2024 Porsche Cayenne is not the most efficient SUV in terms of using its vast footprint, it has a luxury, high-end feel with great attention to detail. It receives a 9 out of 10 for its comfortable seats, overall passenger room, attention to detail, and cargo space—with some limitations on the latter. The cabin of the Cayenne is roomy enough for five passengers, although coupe variants are limited to four.
The front seats are multi-adjustable, as is the back bench. While leather seats are standard, a lengthy list of optional options includes softer hides, cooled front seats, massaging, and more power adjustment for front-seat passengers. The 2024 Cayenne has a load capacity of 27.5 cubic feet, but with the rear seatbacks folded, that capacity grows to 60.3 cubic feet.
Engine
It all depends on your objectives and the extent to which your funds will stretch. 2024 Porsche Cayenne basic models are fitted with a turbocharged V-6 engine producing 335 horsepower and are capable of a 0–60 mph sprint in the mid-five-second range. That is no small accomplishment. If you choose the Cayenne S’s 2.9-liter twin-turbocharged V-6 engine, you’ll cut at least a half-second off those marks, thanks to the engine’s 434 horsepower.
The GTS is equipped with a twin-turbocharged eight-cylinder engine that produces 480 horsepower and accelerates from 0-60 mph in a little over four seconds. The Cayenne Turbo’s engine, significantly modified, generates 550 horsepower, while the Turbo GT’s engine produces 631 hp. The top-of-the-line, 670-horsepower Turbo S E-Hybrid is a ferocious beast equipped with an electric engine and the most potent version of the V-8. Expect a 3.6-second 0-60 mph time and a top speed of 183 mph. All Cayenne models provide exceptional agility for SUVs up to 5,100 lbs.

The 2024 Porsche Cayenne starts at slightly more than $70,000, while the coupe is somewhat more costly at roughly $8,500. In our opinion, the Cayenne GTS variants offer the optimal balance of performance and relative value, despite their starting price of more than $110,000.
