2024 Porsche Macan Electric, Price, Models – The Porsche Macan is a more affordable and compact crossover than the Porsche Cayenne, but it is far from a bargain-basement vehicle. It’s lighter, more attractive, and more maneuverable, resembling a super-hot hatchback rather than a family transporter. The Macan, which is still in its first generation, has been significantly modified for 2024, with the removal of the Turbo variant and a new range-topper in the shape of the 434-horsepower Macan GTS.
The standard Macan continues to be driven by a four-cylinder turbocharged engine producing 261 horsepower, while the Macan S is propelled by a twin-turbo V6 making 375 horsepower. The Macan is a comfortable and intelligent machine with Porsche performance credentials, but it has hard competition from the Audi SQ5, BMW X4, and Alfa Romeo Stelvio in the compact crossover segment.
2024 Porsche Macan Redesign
2024 Porche Macan receives a significant facelift for 2024. It features a revised front and back design, as well as a larger base wheel size of 19 inches. All versions received a power boost, with the GTS model now producing 434 horsepower. That is sufficient power to render the Turbo model obsolete, which Porsche has done. The inside has also been completely overhauled and now has a revamped console with haptic feedback touch buttons similar to those seen on more contemporary Porsches.

Interior
The 2024 Porsche Macan was a superb vehicle, but its inside was beginning to show its age. It is officially Porsche’s oldest product, and you can tell. The majority of the decor has been retained for 2024, but the method by which you interact has been altered. All of the traditional buttons have been replaced with new haptic feedback buttons. Porsche retained the 10.9-inch primary display and opted not to replace the instrument cluster with a new digital unit. Each model features a tachometer directly in front of the driver, as well as a smaller 4.8-inch LCD display that displays information such as gear selection, outdoor temperature, and warning lights.
It can also display a boost gauge on turbocharged versions. All versions include an analog clock that proudly rests atop the center console. We’re huge admirers of the latter element, since any car promoting itself as a luxury vehicle should include an antique clock. The 2024 Porsche Macan has five seats, but the rear passengers will not want to stay long. While the legroom is acceptable, the sloping roof limits headroom for taller people. The best seat in the house is up front, with fantastic driver and passenger seats that come standard with eight-way adjustability, but can be upgraded to 14-way or even 18-way adaptive seating.
Engine
The entry-level 2024 Porsche Macan share the Golf GTI’s inline turbocharged four-cylinder engine. It develops 261 horsepower at 5,000 rpm and 295 lb-ft of torque at just 1,800 rpm in this application. The S model gains the most from engine enhancements. The 3.0-liter single-turbo V6 engine has been phased out in favor of the more modern 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 engine seen in different Audi RS vehicles. It’s a strong engine, producing 375 horsepower at 5,200 rpm and 383 pound-feet of torque at 1,850 rpm. The GTS is powered by the same twin-turbo V6, but Porsche modifies the ECU and adds a sport exhaust. The result is 434 horsepower at 5,700 revolutions per minute and 405 pound-feet of torque at 1,900 revolutions per minute.
From experience, we know that the base model’s four-cylinder engine packs a surprising punch, and this year it gains some additional horsepower and is mated to Porsche’s ultra-smooth and quick-shifting seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. The 375 horsepower of the Macan S model delivers a tremendous punch, with a super-smooth delivery and an exhaust sound that adds to the thrill, especially when it snarls and bursts as it descends the gears.
2024 Porsche Macan Release Date and Price
The standard 2024 Porsche Macan starts at $54,900, while the Macan S starts at $65,400. The GTS trim level, which replaces the $84,600 2021 Macan Turbo, is priced at $79,900. The Porsche Macan pricing does not include the $1,350 shipping, processing, and handling charge, and optional features will significantly increase the price. A well-equipped 2024 Porsche Macan GTS may cost upwards of $120,000, and that’s before you factor in the extensive customisation offered through Porsche’s Exclusive Manufaktur program.
