However, we’d prefer to see at least a few conventional buttons, knobs, or dials on the center console or dashboard rather than a fixation with touch-sensitive surfaces that are difficult to work with while driving and attract fingerprints and dust. However, some technology is appreciated, including dual-zone climate control (four-zone is available), eight-way power front seats, and keyless ignition. In addition, adjustable sports chairs are offered.
Although Porsche portrays the Cayenne SUV as having a 4+1 seating configuration, three adults may fit comfortably in the rear seats, unlike many similarly marketed vehicles. It is easy to enter and exit, and there is sufficient headroom and legroom for every person. Standard eight-way power-adjustable front seats provide a great mix of support and comfort. Engine
While the Cayenne is adequate in performance and power regardless of configuration, those unconcerned with acceleration times and top speed will likely be better off with the base model. This model is equipped with a 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 engine that produces 335 horsepower and 332 pounds-feet of torque. Despite being the least powerful model in the lineup, it has no trouble accelerating from a stop and is capable of passing, albeit with a less intense sensation due to its weight. The E-Hybrid model retains the base model’s drivetrain but adds an “E-Machine” electric motor with 134 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. There are a total of 455 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque available.
The Cayenne S is fitted with a 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 engine that generates 434 horsepower and 405 lb-ft more torque than the base model. This device appears to be extremely quick, and it is. There is no reason to downshift on the highway unless you need to pass slower traffic, albeit this model is inferior to the superior GTS variant. This Cayenne utilizes the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine found in the Turbo model, albeit with slightly less power. This setup produces 453 horsepower and 457 lb-ft of torque. The entry-level S model costs $86,800 less than the GTS variation, which costs $109,000.
