Still, we’d prefer to see some actual controls on the center console or dash instead of the overwhelming obsession with touch-sensitive surfaces that attract fingerprints and dust and are difficult to operate while driving. Dual-zone temperature control (a four-zone system is available), eight-way power front seats, and keyless ignition are welcome additions to the technology. Adaptive sports chairs are also readily accessible for those with special needs.
As a result, although Porsche advertises the Cayenne SUV as having a 4+1 seating layout, three adults may fit comfortably in the back seats. It’s easy to go in and out, and there’s enough room for everyone. Power-adjustable front seats with eight-way lumbar support and eight-way lumbar adjustment are standard.
